Which one did you order?
I ordered the Chinese knockoff @EricV posted above. It was about $30 and mounts without any modifications to the factory screen.

I also noticed it takes the wind off the tops of my shoulders. This wasn’t the reason for getting an accessory but it does help with buffering and movement in the steering when riding around heavy traffic.

Stock? Wow i thought goldwings had good wind protection. The s10 stock allows a shit load of wind turbulence

I just ordered givi hope it helps
Yes, I agree, I almost didn’t buy my 2017 S10 because of the wind noise and turbulence with the stock screen, how did Yamaha get it so wrong? I have a Givi Aeroflow screen and it is excellent.

I’d test ridden my mates bike before buying mine, so I knew the stock screen was pretty dire. Ordered the Givi Airflow as I’d had one on my GS and had modified my Pans screen to mount an Airflow blade to it which is the best screen I’ve had on that too. But I’ve had to space the givi screen out at the bottom on the Ten, which has improved it even more.
A mate was having similar issues with his Tiger, having spent loads on different screens he eventually let me space his Madstad screen out an inch at the bottom and is now much happier too.
Tall and upright isn’t always the way!!

I had to space out my Airflow too, but only by about 1/4” or so as my Airflow is for a Gen 1 S10 and my S10 is a Gen 2
Mines a little more, 20mm ish. Mines also a gen2, don’t believe they actually make the airflow for gen2. My mates Tiger felt like it had more play to allow a little more than what felt natural on the Ten.
