Wow never noticed the crazy high tickets !!! Sounds like a great event but because of the crazy ticket price I most likely won’t attend.

I’m thinking if you just showed up there without buying tickets ahead of time you could probably get by spending a lot less than the $260 ticket price but who knows. I do believe the $260 tickets include free camping on non powered campsite for the 4 nights of the event. I’ve been to Sturgis many times but never stayed at Buffalo Chip campground, it’s always a very popular place to stay.

And its LOUD all durinf sturgis so plan on zero sleep if you’re staying there during an event the size of sturgis.

what do you get for $260?
I've asked that question before. I think it was our last year of Romney when I was contacted by the coordinator of some $300+ "Adventure" group that was staying about 100 miles from our event. I think it was a group of KTMs riders (weenies). This coordinator wanted to compare notes so we could keep our two groups apart that weekend. He seemed to take it in stride when I told him our group is a bunch free-range riders and it would not be possible to intentionally keep our groups apart.

I had no reports of any Romney riders terrorizing timid KTM riders, so as far as I know, there were no incidents.

I'm guessing you don't remember the Maytag Repair Man advertising campaign.

Always happy to have a Tenere rider around. They are usually piloted by people I understand.

Trying to make this happen. Can't make the Super Tenere Black Hills Rendezvous. Anyone else going to this ADV fest? The "ticket" price seems steep....but it does include campground and breakfast....but if one is awake for breakfast. Just curious who might be going to this?

You're being a lot more polite & forgiving than me. These are the people who literally copied our routes and used them as a reason to go to THEIR event.
