It’s all about maintaining your bike sir. All those things you listed should be checked and replaced as needed. As part of normal wear. Wiring harness needs to have all connections checked periodically.
Sir, these items are all recalls on the Tenere, has nothing to do with maintaining your bike. It took Yamaha several years to figure out some of these problems and you are saying you could take care of it all with regular maintenance. Seriously, you need to blow that smoke in another direction.

Uh oh!! Another thread getting off topic. BTW, has anyone tried a cheap oil from Walmart such as Motul 300v to make clutch pull easier?

Hi, I've only test ridden so far but as I'm used to a light clutch and keeping clutch engaged rather than use neutral when waiting, I found the tension to be so hard it was uncomfortable. Is there a way I can adjust the tension or do I need to learn to use neutral more..? TIA

My new to me ST 14' came with a heavy clutch action. I took the lever out, cleaned and greased everything and now feel way lighter. Also, do not install shorty levers, this clutch works way better with the EOM levers.

Well I've had my first 1500 miles on mine now and honestly haven't noticed the clutch being heavy since the test ride. I have bar risers now and no more comfort issues

The only thing I notice on clutches is where it starts to engage. The clutches on the Tenere, RT, FJR, and ST 1300, all feel the same to me. I then adjust the point of engagement, and carry on.
