My winglets are from 2012. Back then they used crush rubber nuts with metal screws. Even Yamaha went cheap on the winglets hardware as the Tenere came more popular.

Yes, I have sold many to folks with deflectors. I even include the necessary hardware.eram310 said:Hi,
Would this work with the side wind deflectors?
Thanks,

eram310 said:Hi,
This is the best $25 I spent on the bike. I didn't think it would make a lot of difference, but it did. For 2.5 years I learned to live with a Vibrating Zumo on the accessory bars. On Sunday we went for a nice Fall ride on mixed surface roads include some unpaved all two up and the GPS is solid, no more vibrations.
A note, I didn't even use the supplied hardware. I mounted Accessory bar using the nylon bolts from the Wind deflectors. It is probably not as strong as the SS you supplied, but maybe I don't need it to be that strong. In case something goes wrong, I will rip the bolts and not the fairing.
Thank you
Glad you like them. I just dropped off the next batch at the powdercoater.
There are plenty of brackets available. And to make sure I don't run out, I just ordered another 50 pair.bnschroder said:Can I still get some of these brackets? They look a lot better than what I made
