ABS pump busted?

2012 super tenere
Bleeded the front and rear brakes today
First round after bleeding them, ABS light will light up whenever the rear brake is used
Thinking that ABS pump needs to be cycled, jumped the diagnostic plug and cycled the pump a few times
Both front lever and rear pedal had pulsing feedback from the cycles.

After cycling, the rear brake pedal goes hard and was unable to depress.
Brake fluid does not release after loosening the caliper nibble (unable to apply pressure from pedal). Rear brake obviously does not work now.

ABS unit busted? or anything I can further test on?

Try going to a grassy area, and dragging the rear brake where the ABS will turn on "naturally"... try that a hand full of times. Then come and cycle the fluid again. (bleed the brakes). Ive had to do this process before, I performed what I just described 3-4 times in a row and it all came back to normal. Not fast, not fun, but got it back to 'factory normal'.
Its hard to get air out of the pump. Keep working at it.

Thanks Tabasco,

Seems like a valve in the pump is jammed. Cycled the pump endless times and couldn't depress the brake pedal at all.
Can't even release the brake fluid and bleed.

In the end, bypassed the ABS pump
