As someone that has spent all of his life fixing things, I would encourage you to rewrite that book. Sensors have connectors and components and can often go bad. I've seen many electrical components of various types that would fail as they heated up. Sometimes by only a small amount, but it was enough to open or increase the resistance of a a circuit. I'm not saying that the sensor or heat is the cause in this case, but I wouldn't rule it out either.TheBeast said:.... and in my book a sensor is a) defective or b)just fine.
