Man that just sucks. I remember my first winter in Canada (72-73) shorts and T-shirt on near the end of March then 2 weeks later 6inches of snow.

I feel for you klingklang, it's a long winter when you got a new bike coming. I live in Wisconsin, and every year I ask my wife "why are we still living here?" This winter we had plenty of snow, but not much stayed on the ground. There were several ice storms and even some thunderstorms that knocked down the snow accumulation. The snowmobile trails were open for like 3 days. There wasn't much for ice fishing either, with the fluctuating temperatures and the rain. I like your neighbor's canopy thing over his driveway. What brand is that and how does it hold up to the snow and wind? Looks like he doesn't even have to deal with snow removal. Hang in there pretty soon we will be complaining about the heat!

Ouch.

I had a boss retire when I worked in Connecticut and everybody knew he hated snow. When we asked him where he was retiring to, he said that he was tying a snow shovel to the front bumper of his RV. When somebody asked what it was, he said that would be the place he was going to stay.

Mother Nature is trying to wall Quebec back in... ;)

Word is she doesn't like BEEEEEP BEEEEEPing and it's not nice to tick off Mother Nature. Expect a fresh snow storm in about 2 days. Came thru here yesterday, though farther north than I am.

I suppose its all relative.

Down here we often brag (during the winter) how we can ride all year long.
And while it IS true, we can, it's also NOT the whole truth, especially if you are an ATGATT rider.

Oh, and every August, for decades, we ask "why are we still here?"
Same question, right?

(except different answer. Cuz down here the answer is "because of October-April, that's why". True enough. Today was outright gorgeous.

I worked today...in Phoenix...and was very glad that it was just a set up day so that shorts and polo shirt were the chosen attire...
