A few weeks ago I decided to catch the sunrise up on Mountain View Road, which is a somewhat goaty, lightly-traveled backroad that connects the little town of Boonville on the glorious Hwy 128 with the even gloriouser Highway 1 where the San Andreas Fault heads out to sea. I left the house before dark, spun up and over, and stopped at the Point Arena lighthouse to watch the ocean for a bit. I was home for lunch with a little over 200 fresh smiles on the trip meter. The only thing that might have made it better would have been to share it with someone, so here are a few pics :)

Excellent. Really nice shots. I used to love riding around that area when I lived in Santa Rosa.

I'd be game to join you on the next one, but the starting spot is probably a bit far from Glendale. Perhaps one day, though...

It really is a spectacular area for riding. I’m always glad to come home when I roam!

Maybe a meetup for burgers in Parkfield? ::003::
