Visited Mesa Verde National Park. Then made our way to Durango Colorado. Making our way across New Mexico.
I loved it down in Durango. If you pass thru again and are looking for lodging, we stayed at a great little motel called the Siesta Inn. If you're going to go through the Taos area in NM, the El Pueblo Lodge was a fantastic place to stay.

US 64 east of Eagle Nest is a great drive, up through the Palisades (weather permitting). This is what it looked like in June '18:

Glad you both continue to have fun. Good job channeling Vanna White. ;)

As a Dad with a Daughter, I am very happy that the two of you went, got out, enjoyed nature and by the looks of the photos, each others company. Thank you for sharing. It's Day Trippin' stories like this that help me through the doldrums of winter. And, this is just my opinion, but you would kick yourself in the ass everyday with regret if you didn't take this little adventure.
