Is it usually the case that the crank cover gasket needs changing when the shins are done or can it be reused?

40K mile valve check

i didn,t have to replace any gaskets on my valve check job that gasket can ho again with no issues

Cheers Rob, it’s a 2017 with 24k miles. Is it likely I will need to change CCT or chain guides?

Not needing adjustment ('til some pretty high mileages) is normal- My S10 was still within spec at 26K and 52K and my BMW F800S with similar valve gear was within spec at 24K, 48K, and 72K. Long Haul Paul didn't get his checked until after 100K!

Got my bike back today after it’s 24k valve check. 3 exhaust shims needed changing but everything else was fine

Speak to Steve at ZZR Works in Worthing. 07808 861823. It’s a bit of a trek for me but he’s the only person I trust with my bikes. He also sends a photo commentary of what he finds etc.
