I changed my coolant the other night and it had a lot of black flecks of what I think paint from the cap/neck? Has anyone else seen this?
My drain bucket was clean, that black crap is from the cooling system. As soon as I popped the cap to the radiator I noticed them floating around in there, it seemed a little 'crunchy' when turning to remove the cap. Rubber gasket on the cap seemed intact and fine.
I poured quite a bit of distilled water through the radiator while I had it draining but I still had some flecks floating around when I refilled and fired it up.
Probably do another drain/fill at next oil change now that I know there's junk in there. 2017 with just under 27k miles on it... curious if anyone else has seen this. Did not have any issues with operation -- even commuting in Texas summer heat.
