Little feedback, had mine on for over a year now and a Satnav mounted to the crossbar. Completely clear vision, no blurring or vibration even with a tall after market screen. Worth every penny/cent. ::008::

My prototype didn't move from the full up position in two years. Last summer I installed the same laser cut braces that I've been selling. My windscreen hasn't moved.

FWIW before I installed any braces, I put a drop of blue Loctite on the threads of the large adjustment nuts because my windscreen kept falling down. The Loctite solved that problem. When I installed the latest braces, the adjustment nuts were still fairly "sticky". So I'd be careful not to overdo it with the Loctite.
Well, the windscreen worked it’s way down one setting again during my 46 mile commute to work. Again, the adjustment knobs seemed tight. After I arrived I again loosened the knobs, pushed the screen back up and retightened. This time I gave them a bit more of a twist, almost as tight as I could manage before my fingers hurt or I stripped the threads. Now it is staying put. So I’ve learned the trick is to just really crank down on the knobs compared to without the braces. Glad I got it working because I really like the rigidity they add!

Recieved.....Installed....Tested....Satisified

While I dont have anything attached to the crossbar that was bouncing around....the instability of the shield was enuff for me to consider the braces.
.....&...What a difference they make!
The shield is now rock solid....verified by riding behind a semi truck trailer on I35 for a few miles in windy conditions this last weekend.......IT NEVER MOVED
BIG THANX!

Got my braces today and i'm still amazed... I dunno how you do it at that price point. I was expecting the braces in a bubble envelope or something...

What I got is a properly packaged set of black braces, wrapped in foam, with instructions and a small ziploc that contained all the hardware needed to an awesome install, even with the winglets.

My hat is off to you sir. Top notch product.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you like them.

If anyone needs some, I can get them out thru Thursday 9/13/2018. After that you will have to wait until Thursday 27th.

My wife and I are taking a long needed vacation to the CO mountains.

Thanks all!

Just received my Super Braces from Tom, just a week from ordering to them arriving on my doorstep. Brilliant service!

Just one thing, like others, the locating lugs no longer reach, but the vertical adjustment seems to be secure enough. The one thing bugging me is the screen seems slightly loose, it rocks about 1/4” backwards and forwards which I don’t recall it doing before. Now I am sure that this is nothing to do with the Super Braces but I am thinking that I may have disturbed something because the movement comes from where the screen is fixed and not from the Super Braces, any comments or suggestions guys? I will take a closer look tomorrow.

You must have loosened something because my patio door(VStream Touring) is rock solid with the braces on.

Double check the mounting screws/rubbers on the windscreen?

I had the same issue as Cymru. After I installed the brackets I noticed that the lugs didn't touch and the clamp brackets seem to be tilted

Closer inspection showed a slight interference between the slot in the super bracket and a pin on one of the adjusting rollers

I cut a small relief in the slot with a round file

During assembly I added a little custom bend now everything fits flush, I don't have to over tighten the adjusting knobs, and everything is solid
I did about 750 miles this weekend down around western NC with no issues.

Ah! Thanks KYwoodsrider! The 3rd picture where you have opened it a little looks like the issue that I have, I will take another look today and post the results.

Just an update, I have checked and the issue I have is the same as KYwoodsrider, the bottom of the slot needs to be opened up. Right now, I don’t have the time to mess about filing out the braces so I have taken them off altogether until I do have the time. So now, my satnav May shake a bit, but I can listen to the instructions via Bluetooth and my screen is mounted nice and securely and doesn’t vibrate and rattle. Ce la vie!
