Has anyone received their 23 Super Tenere yet? It looks like the paint is base/clear gray metallic this year. I'm buying it regardless, but hoping it's better than the black satin from previous years.

On the Yamaha website it calls it "Granite Gray" for '23. '21 & '22 were "Matte Raven Black". '19 & '20 were "Ceramic Ice". Of course, those were US colors.

Only the most exciting industrial colors and finishes for the last 5 years of the S10. I thought my red 2015 S10 standard was the best looking of them all….I’m stuck with the flat, primer finished ‘21 ES that I currently own.

@Daddywarbux i was super lucky. I had given up looking for a bit and over coffee was hinting cycle trader. i saw an ad with a stock number, assigned to it at a local dealership 8 miles up the road. I called and the salesman told me there’s no way they have that without a deposit on it but put me on hold. He came back and said son of a gun that come in the night before in the inventory manager just happened to load it in. I was the first phone call on it. Worked out the deal in about 20 minutes. Picked it up that evening.

I’ve been super busy with parts ordering!

I came from a 2017 Triumph tiger Explorer XCa.
I am really happy with this thing! i’m sure you will be.

So, if they are so sought after . . . . why do I not ever see one in the wild? Are people using them as an investment? Or only riding them to Starbucks?

It is a super secret club! i ride mine a lot……23,000 miles on my “21 since purchased new in November 2021. The dealers rarely stock them and mine was purchased at a dealer 150 miles from home as none of the multiple St. Louis, MO area Yamaha dealers had one in stock at the time.

i just looked at the 2023 grey and its nice. i noticed it comes with new luggage this year for only $100 increase from last year.
I got impatient waiting on the backordered Yamaha side racks and ordered GIVI..

The cases look like the ones on the Raid Edition. For not much more than the "regular" cases.

It is rebadged Givi Outbacks …….or a copy!?. I have them at mine -20 Raid edition.
I’m pretty sure that It was the same at my Tiger 1200 XCa -19
Givis toolbox fits like a glove.

In my area new ones are scarce yet used ones just do not sell , even at really good prices.
The owners that won’t deeply discount end up getting hosed at dealers on their new bike( that is IF they will even take them in on trade)

I don’t understand it.
