I'm hoping to have a ten year reunion of the 2012 Yukon Rally in Whitehorse Yukon next summer. Looking at June 24-26th or there about. Rem Ricks still rides a Tenere and has offered up his garage for light maintenance if needed and his yard as a meet up spot. We will be in touch with Yukon Yamaha for some sort of support. If you are planning to travel to Alaska next year this could be a good break. The first time there were 18 riders from all over Canada and the US. I wonder how many of the original group are still here? Lets find out.

Have to talk someone into putting something together in the fall in Arkansas.
Hello Doug,

No, I personally not but I would love to meet up somewhere and ride with some “forum guys”. We can definitely see if anyone has some interest.
I don’t want to have a conversation about another gathering in this post. I’m always a supporter of the ‘gathering’ whoever host it and wherever it might be. Don’t know how I feel about starting another thread about another group ride. Seems counter productive and against the typical unwritten rules. Lol

If I get the forums blessing, I might start a tread on another gathering for the “un-retired gang ride” For the folks that are not retired and only have a few days to get there ride in ! LOL

Love you guys ! LOL

I’m sure there’s a way that can happen. Hoping to see you somewhere next year. I should be retired by then I hope

Is this doable for someone who does not bike camp? I still need Alaska to complete my 50 states.

(Right now on the way home from a trip. Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico, Arizona, Las Vegas Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, home to Iowa tomorrow. With 70 year old wife but on the Venture.)

Alternatively one or two people interested in splitting expenses taking my toy hauler there and then riding north?

The lady wants to go to Banff, so we may be hauling the bike there to keep from subjecting her to the Great Plains, then riding the Icefields Pkwy north.

I’ve ridden to Alaska three different times and even though most folks say it’s difficult finding motels we never had much trouble getting a room when we wanted one. For this rally I would recommend booking a room in Whitehorse well in advance

Same, never any trouble finding a room. As you say plan ahead and remember these are all usually small communities. I will see about getting a list of hotels motels and camp sites in whitehorse area in the new year. Dawson fills up quickly as well as the few places on the Dempster or Dalton if you are going that way.

Some spectacular scenery between the lower 48 and Whitehorse. Took us 2 weeks to get there from VA. As a unretired guy it's probably unlikely ill be able to make this one.

Trying to talk my wife into this ride.
Them Granddaughters can be a real pain in the butt when it comes to traveling these days, She has to see them every few days or she gets cranky. [ Just kidding, she's never cranky.]
Yesterday I was teaching them to shoot.
