Well, 2020 never quite happened for most of us. If the situation improves, what’s the plans for 2021?

Me, I’m hoping for a few days in Normandy and Brittany in May, then doing what was originally planned for 2020, riding down through France with a mate on a KTM1290 Adv, over 3/4 days in July, heading to Spain and the Picos, where we have a villa/house booked for a week, giving us plenty of time to properly explore the region. There a further 4 bikes meeting us there from the UK/ Santander ferry route.

I have big plans for Denmark/Scandinavia and perhaps The Baltic States in 2022.

You?

I keep my fingers crossed that I can do some of the trips I missed out on last year. First on that list is a month ride to Portugal and The Picos in May.

Boris: If you visit DK in 2022 you are welcome to reach out. I can bury you in great tracks and places to see here - and I always have a cold beer and a bite for a fellow rider passing by.
I did the big tour of DK last year:

I have to admire the optimism. From my UK perspective, currently in Lockdown 3 for many weeks, if not months yet, I find it difficult to even think about significant travel prospects back home, let alone around Europe. Perhaps it's me, being a grumpy old git, maybe a tad over-cautious, but I just hate the idea of making exciting bike trip plans when there remains such a high risk of them being blown away by a knee-jerk of legislation.

So I shall adopt a wait & see approach for 2021 & hope for opportunities to open up next year once the vax programme has been rolled out fully.

Hi mate, I'm not far from you. The current lockdown has screwed my plans to go up to Keighley and collect my S10. Looking forward to spring in the hope things will have settled down here a bit. Will hopefully be able to do a bit in the UK this year. Like you I'm not confident in booking anything yet

I agree Squibb, it’s not looking great.

Our group of 10 booked the Spain property and ferries late 2019 for summer 2020, before COVID became a thing, it then went arse up and we were given booking credits when Europe shut down. Hopefully we can use them this year.
