Definitely the same place, Steve.

Insurance claim on my bike was $2,565. I'm doing it myself and the parts came to $977. Unfortunately, three parts are backordered and coming from Japan around August 10th.

Life has grabbed me by the neck since getting back, sorry I haven't posted sooner.
I had a most awesome time. Steve, FM Rider, SilverBullet and the couple from Minnesota (Mark and Sharon) were so nice to meet. The riding was spectacular and the comradery was spot on! Special thanks to Steve for just planning his vacation and letting me tag along. I never would have had this experience if were not for him planning something. The riding, once again, proved the ability of the Tenere. It was great riding between and past those two BMW's (they were going down the "easy way") on the way up Ophir pass. Lots of great pics already posted. However, we know the pics don't do it justice if you've never been there...spectacular!!! I do need to pound out the big dent in my bash plate. Thank goodness I had it! I hope we meet again for some more riding and comradery.
AND....if you want to go on the "2018 UFO sled ride", you'll need to get your ticket from James Dean along with your passport to Scotland

I'll try some pics.
1) Four Teneres over 12,000'
2) Steve not letting Ophir pass get the best of him.
3) FM Rider taking on Ophir pass.
4) David shredding up Ophir pass.
5) Three states going to Telluride (Florida, Minnesota, California)
6) A view outside Telluride
7) AND...David on the motorized cooler!

Cowboy, your sense of timing is a little... off. Glad you got out there to ride, and speaking for all: sorry to have missed you. Please note: at least 2 of the bikes in attendance were "thrown down" multiple times.

I'm not sure if that means we're not doing it right, or we ARE doing it right.

Shred, thank YOU. Seriously. I can't say it enough. You and Mrs. Shred totally made the trip for me. The warmth, generosity, and welcome you both extended to me is not something I take for granted, nor will forget.
Still laugh remembering some of Mrs. Shred's one-liners! "We gotta bling up this cooler!" "What do you think of THAT, Dr. Phil?"

I'll wait for you at the south end of the basketball court.

Steve, thanks for putting this event together. We had great time meeting and riding with everyone. It looks like the adventure got a bit more intense after we left. It would have been fun to ride with the boys on some of that COBDR. Dale and Terena thanks for hospitality. Steaks and Crown on me next time. How about next year Steve?
