SOLD 2016 Super Tenere -$9000 Southold, NY SOLD

2016 non-ES with 34,277 miles. Fully maintained. Fully farkled w/extras.

• Jesse Odyssey 10" panniers with over 90 L of storage, installed without the passenger rails (frame grab handles still installed) allowing a 2" savings in width. They are only about 38” wide.
• Altrider parts include: lower crash bars, skid plate, side stand footie, universal joint and side stand switch protection, plus the Altrider rear rack and rack that replaces the rear seat. Currently seat is installed, not rack.
• Penske rear shock with remote reservoir (GREATLY improves handling over stock)
• Computer tuned for increased performance and smoother throttle
• PIAA LED fog lights
• HeliBars bar backs
• wind deflectors
• windshield stabilizer bars
• windshield accessory bar RAM mount
• handlebar RAM mount
• Powerlet SAE/BMW style 15 amp power connection installed on dash for heated clothing, tire pump, etc
• DC Coax style connection under seat for heated clothing
• extra SAE connection for trickle charger
• Techspec tank knee grips
• two seats, Seat Concepts comfort seat and a Terry Adcox that was modified at a local upholstery shop.

I had a blast with this Tenere. I’ve had a dozen different bikes over the years and this hits a nice compromise between comfort, wind protection, handling, versatility and style. But, I suffer bike ADD and have my eyes on another I just “gotta have”. My loss is your gain, this well cared for bike is all kitted out and ready for its new owner.

Which bike do you now have your eyes on?

A Vulcan Cruiser (Voyager). Or was. Crazy lifter noise since it’s been sitting, bars hit dash one side but not the other and of course the owner has amnesia about any possible history.

But it’s hard to go back to low tech and sub Yamaha build quality. So now, I’m having fun shopping. Open to trades

I was out riding around your parts last Sunday. Went all the way to Orient Point. There was some kind of closed street activity in Greenport
then took the real long way back home through back roads. Saw deer more than usual here and there. Had a nice go on Mill Road.
