I didn't think I'd ever be writing this but the time has come for me to try something different so the S10 is going up for sale.
It's a really well sorted example with loads of extras. I'm the only owner having bought it new in 2016, it currently has 28k miles with service history, main dealer while under warranty then home servicing with loads of receipts and pics. The valve clearance check was done at 26k by a local well respected independent mechanic with a receipt and valve clearances recorded. The swing arm has been off to have the bearings greased with the bolt fitted back in the opposite way so it'll be easier next time. The coils have been out and waterproof grease applied and a protection plate placed in front of them. MOT until September 2023, regular brake/clutch fluid changes with the ABS pump being cycled.

The bike spends 90% of its life training on BikeSafe, RoSPA and DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme, it never goes past 3k until it's up to temperature and then it gets ridden properly without being lugged around in low gears or thrashed. It's done a couple of Scotland tours and it was supremely comfortable, 1800 miles in 5 days and it ate it up.

The list of extras is as follows:

Fork guards

Headlight guard

LED side lights

LED Headlights

Extended caps

Screen spoiler

Nav braces

Winglets

Mirror extenders

Oxford Heated grips

Touratech bar risers

Hand guard extensions (lower)

Givi Engine Bars

Givi Spots

Givi Tank lock ring

Brake Pedal extender

Pillion handles (can't believe these don't come as standard)

Centre stand

Denali Soundbomb mini

Touratech rider seat

Touratech pillion seat

Plastic tool box

Touratech Rack

Touratech top box

Touratech pannier rails

Touratech 38/41 panniers

Yoshimura RS4

All books, 3 keys, barrels for OEM luggage, stock seats and exhaust are included. The bike does get ridden all year round, it does get a good coat of AFC50 a couple of times a year, there are some marks on the bike but overall the condition is very good.

I'll take more pics when the lighting is better.

I'd like to sell it as it is but if there's no interest I'll put it back to stock and reduce the price and sell the extras separately.

The price is strong but I believe it's worth every penny.

£9,000 ono

I'm going to try it, a mate has offered me a 1200 for the part ex price, it's about the best opportunity I'm going to have to scratch the itch. I might not like it and I'll be straight back to an S10, at least I'll know how to set one up how I like it!

I don't know about y'all's exchange rate, but that seems like a fantastic price.

It is indeed

Does the mesh deliver on its promises? I've been thinking of one of those. Depending in manufacturer, I've seen some comments about some being very hard to stretch over the seat to install. What was your experience, and which did you purchase? Thanks.

This is a cheap Chinese copy for an R1200GS seat which happens to fit the Touratech seat very well but it wasn't such a good fit on the oem seat.
