I was thinking to try Seats by Spencer if the Helibar don't make the seat better
If you research, it is a common complaint that the stock foam seat does not have enough padding upfront. At first, on shorter rides of around an hour or so, I did not have much complaints but then noticed the tank loving problem on half day/full day rides. The Seat Concept foam has more material upfront, keeping you back from the tank.

But, I did not get all day comfort from the Seat Concept foam, even with denser option. The stock seat was hurting my bums after about an hour and the SC foam moved this out to about 2 hours. I then had to add an Airhawk for longer rides but, everyone's bums are different.

If doing long distance riding often, it maybe worth the custom seat job. I wish I had gone that route in the first place.

Also, I am heavy at 235 lbs. So, may not be an issue for an average person.

After leveling my seat, I have no complaints. I did a 655 mile ride on Tuesday and the seat was comfortable.

Hi Tosspilot - I looked at the Rumux plate / bars, but don't see a source in hte US. Do they have a US presence?

The previous owner did mention putting the seat in a really low position. I have not looked at the options for raising / leveling yet. I will make that my 1st attempt at longer comfort. - thanks!

I’ve got an ACD skid plate and like it. The T. rex looks good. I did the stud mod up front where the skid plate mounts. I want to take the skid plate off anyway when I change my oil. Good time to clean and makes changing the oil a no mess easy task.
