Some questions about clearing the codes on a 2016.
1. Does the side stand need to be down and the bike in gear?
2. When switching the kill switch on then back off, are we switching it to the RUN position or the START position?
3. How long do we need to hold it in that position?
4. Will there be any indication that the codes were cleared?
5. Will this also clear SCU codes as well as ECU codes?
I ask because I went through this, but I don't think it cleared any of the codes. Also, I think some of the codes aren't fault codes, but diagnostic codes (e.g. throttle position, battery voltage) but I don't know exactly which are faults and which are simply diagnostic.
