I am selling my 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere. I am the second owner of this bike, and it's been mine since the summer of 2013.
Listed below are the specs, modifications, and pictures.
This is a solid Adventure Bike. It's not perfect, but there are no issues with the bike at all. The only thing I wish I could find is the passenger seat - I've been using the bike in this configuration for so long I can't find it anywhere. It's taken me on numerous street and ADV adventures in the time that I've owned it. It's done the COBDR, MABDR, TWAT, and other misc. off road adventures. It's not a garage queen - it's been ridden & down a few times, but it's still a great running and looking ride. It's simply time for me to move on to something else.
It currently has 22,545 miles on the odometer. I am asking $5900. I'm not interested in any trades or parting it out.
I have the clear title in hand. I'm located in Normal, Illinois.

Specs
- 22,5xx miles
- Tires are Bridgestone Battlax AX41s. They are pretty worn - only about 1-2K miles left in them max. Since tires are such a personal choice, I'm letting the buyer put on what is most desirable to them.
- The battery is an OEM Yuasa YTZ14S. It is 4 years old and will need replacing soon.
- Jesse Luggage Side cases and top case (with mount) included. They have a little rash from use, but are solid and weatherproof still. I added the D-mounts to the tops for more storage flexibility. The bigger side case on the throttle side included a bag liner and top pouch from Cee Bailey.
- SW-Motech Bags Connection tank bag with horseshoe mount included
- Complete Arrow full exhaust system with carbon fiber front protection - it sounds deep and throaty
- ECU Unleashed Mapping performed by AF1 Racing in Austin, TX - pairs well with the Arrow full exhaust and opens up the throttle. No more need for the Clutch Jumper Mod
- Uni Pod air filters
- Cyclops LED kit for headlights
- LED Signals and flasher from Gen 2 Super Tenere
- Fastway billet foot pegs
- Euro left bar switch cluster with hazards button
- Touratech adjustable windshield mount with MRA lip-style windshield and 20mm bar for farkel mounting (custom kydex supports for extra strength)
- Touratech grate protection for headlight
- Touratech mounting plates for passenger seat and tail - great spot for larger duffel roll, etc.
- Yamaha wind deflectors
- MRA Touring Windscreen installed - for longer rides
- 2 other windscreens included - one is the OEM (I think) and the other is some other touring style
- Heat demon heated grip elements installed over factory grips
- Rox Riders handlebar risers
- Kako throttle lock cruise control
- Custom kydex dash panel with Datel voltmeter and GI-Pro gear indicator with switches for grips, fan override, ABS disable and 2 powerlets (1 switched, 1 always on)
- Eastern Beaver PC8 fuse panel neatly installed in right fairing with all the other electronics
- Speedo Healer - speedometer is accurate
- AltRider Skid Plate
- AltRider Crash Bars
- AltRider Front Fork Guards
- Front Fork Seals replaced 2 years ago with SKF seals and sealsaver wraps
- Oil changed every year - drive shaft splines lubed every tire change
- Service manual
- Most stock parts included
