2 Inch Rox Risers on 2014 ES

Just purchased a 2014 ES and was installing 2 inch Rox Risers and noticed that the brake and clutch lines weren't long enough to allow the front end to turn all the way. I even did the Altrider mod with very little help if any. I saw where Ride on ADV has the longer lines to alleviate the brake and clutch line problem. My question is, are there any other problem areas that may need addressing like the throttle cables or wiring harness?

I have no actual experience with this but from what I have read here on this forum it’s only the brake and clutch hoses that cause issues. You can buy 2.5 inches longer hoses here.

I fitted the 2” risers to my 2016 ES, the kit came with a 4” extension line for the brake line, but the clutch line was already long enough. You should be okay for the clutch you do have to run the clutch line differently over the top yoke to make it reach, but the brake line has to be lengthened. I got lazy, I removed one caliper from the forks, pumped the slave cylinders out quite a way, then disconnected the brake line from the master cylinder, added the extension piece and bolted it back to the master cylinder, then forced the slave pistons back into the caliper. This forced brake fluid back up the brake line all the way to the master cylinder. This avoided getting air in the system and having to bleed the brake system.

I have 2017 ES model . I just installed 2" Rox risers and ADV extended brake and clutch lines . You don't have to do anything else all the cables are going to be ok . Throttle cables a little tight for my liking when the bars turned all the way to the right , but it doesn't affect the idle or anything .
I'd say just replace the lines to longer ones , bleed the brakes and go and if in the future you want to change handle bars or put different risers you don't have to worry about anything and it will be an easy swap .
Honestly so far adding the risers has been my favorite mod when it comes to riding comfort .

I installed the 2" risers and found a video on line that shows how to (for lack of a better term) "reroute" the stock lines. i had to buy a bag of P clamps. that was about it.

Hi Tiger, I don't think I've seen anyone go with the 3" risers yet. You'd certainly need longer lines for that, but the throttle cables may also become an issue with 3" risers. You might PM @~TABASCO~ to see if he is aware of anyone doing that. He also sells longer lines. Top quality.

After looking at the 3" risers, I realized they're only for 7/8" bars.
