Some may argue the value, but I felt "The Milepost" was a VERY worthwhile purchase for my two trips to AK. Lots of good info!!!

Snag the vacation cus it is happin'in. One year from today. Today I pre-toured one of the rides we can offer and I offer a photo. This is the ride to Atlin BC. 300km round trip from Whitehorse with the possibility of several hours of remote mining trails if there is the appetite.

Atlin is at the far end of the lake in the photo. it lies at the end of the road.

Yo, Troll ... how was the Atlin Road? I hear there is a lot of construction. I keep meaning to go down there when I do the Tagish Loop. How much is paved? I used to live out there. Km. 13, just past Haunka Creek, up on the right heading south. Little log house. Sold it in 1986. Wish I still had it. R

Atlin rd is good, the construction is managable, but soft. Would be great fun on the SupaT with Heide's. About 50% dirt/gravel the rest is chip seal.

Mark your calendar, lock in those holidays for the "First North American Super Tenere Gathering/Convergence" June 30 - July 5 2012 in Whitehorse, Yukon.

here is a link to the city of Skagway, Alaska - http://skagway.com/index.html - we will ride there for the Independance Day celebrations for 2012. This was the city at the start of the 1898 gold rush trail. Filled with history. click the "events section" on the Skagway web site and see how these folks party. I will ride down this year and take a few pictures to wet everyones appetite. ;D ;D ;D

Don't forget the Dust to Dawson Rally is typically a couple of days after solstice and try not to conflict with the Race to the Midnite Sun when rooms in Whitehorse are difficult to get. Just did the Souith Canol and Dempster two weeks ago. These are must do roads for every adventure rider. Looking forward to doing them again in 2012 on the S10

Don't forget the Dust to Dawson Rally is typically a couple of days after solstice and try not to conflict with the Race to the Midnite Sun when rooms in Whitehorse are difficult to get. Just did the Souith Canol and Dempster two weeks ago. These are must do roads for every adventure rider. Looking forward to doing them again in 2012 on the S10

June 21st thru July 1st 2012 for Dust 2 Dawson. It's labeled as Dawson and Whitehorse. Sure are going to be a bunch of bikes passing through the neighborhood that week. Only two weeks vacation to do it. Hmmm.
