S10 needs a refresh to compete but it doesn’t really need much improvement to do what most riders realistically do.

I’ve been on here for years & owned 2017 ES for 2 years & 30k miles- I have had no trouble & not heard of any real problems. Minimal maintenance & they just keep running.

That’s what I do if doubling-by myself I don’t care.

You live in the middle of a great area to do the Tenere thing. I left Waynesboro & rode all county roads through Catawba to Dublin-slept a little and took an incredible dirt road into Burke’s Garden Virginia-Back of the Dragon & meandered home. Highly recommended & perfect on a Super Ten.

What fuse block did you add ? I need to do that.

I use a cheap bicycle coil lock through the chin bar of helmet- it is always coiled on the passenger grab handle.

I have coasted off a hill like that & had no brake trouble- only maybe twice just playing around but brakes worked normally.

Good question-I have run several sets on my Tenere & they do everything I expect & need a tire to do for a very reasonable price. I quite simply don’t need a more capable tire.

Just parked it-wheel hasn’t been off for 5000 miles. Pretty sure that is how it is supposed to be.

I looked around for a funnel solution but gave up. I just stick one in & do a little bungie cord to crash bars for reassurance.

EarthX sells a neat setup for hooking up a jump pack. 24 inches of 10 gauge wire with battery hook ups on one end & SAE plug on the other-near the SAE end it separates with the type of plug that plugs right in to jump pack. Very clean connection & you could use the SAE for any accessory. You...

Welcome from the western part of your state. Use the cruise control to get west of Richmond then just hit the backroads. I live at the junction of the Skyline Drive & the Blue Ridge Parkway-pretty awesome no matter which way I go.

An S10 can keep you pretty isolated-I rode for hours yesterday and only saw a handful of cars.
