Oh yeah! So it was 7.5a fuse for the 'electronic throttle valve' that was blown. I was looking only at the 20a FI fuse thinking I was flooded and experiencing the dreaded 'hard start'. Thank you Rob for the leads, I owe you a cold one or six!

Rob, the link you sent refers to a 7.5a fuse for the injection. Is this something different from the 20a fuse I find in my 2014 Gen 2? I can hear the pump run with the 20a in and it stops when I pull it, just making sure I'm not missing something. So far all I'm getting is a few pops, usually...

Two days ago I somehow managed to connect a new battery in reverse polarity which blew the main fuse. New fuse in place, no start. I'm getting a few pops with the FI fuse out but that's it. Temps are low in my shed, about 40F tops... I can't believe I did this, bike last ran just a week ago and...

X, speaking to your comment on aerodynamics, I've been two up with all three of these cases fully loaded and it was stable running at an indicated 120 mph.

Yes, the price is for all three. No idea on the capacity but they're rather large. Seems they might be sold, I expect local pickup this week.

These are OEM Suzuki Vstrom cases by KAPPA , they're very similar to GIVI monokey cases and mount to monokey racks. I painted these with truck bed liner years ago and they look tatty but are perfectly functional. They're all keyed the same and I have several keys

I just removed these from my 2014 and they're in great shape, seats look like new. A tiny bit of foam stuck to the pans when I removed them but hardly worth mention, a few pea sized bits. My wife misses the Russell we had on our last bike so these are moving on...$150.

Re: OEM rear shock with aftermarket spring, spacer and knob...$100 plus shipping I'm not sure if you would find it too stiff, it's a good bit more spring than stock which I recall is something like a 750lb.

Re: OEM rear shock with aftermarket spring, spacer and knob... I'm 240 lbs. and can get the proper sag with some headroom in the preload. Sorry, no pics right now but it looks like a newish oem shock with a dark blue spring and trick preload knob.

Nikol, yes, the sound does change when you adjust. But still, the adjustment knob should click to each setting and this one does not so as far as I'm concerned, it's defective.

I just installed a YA 013 Ohlins rear shock in my 2014 non ES and was surprised by how noisy the shock is in the rebound stroke. Is this typical of the breed or perhaps trouble? The damping feels controlled and smooth...just a rather loud 'WOOSH' on rebound. Also, should the rebound damping...
