Hi,
I learned that Super Tenere is no longer offered in Europe since this year,
buit got some really good deal on new black tech St1200ZE 2019 left over.
I was actually planning get new Africa Twin but stumbled on this last one in my country.
Very tempting, what do you think?
Hi,
wonder if there is any differences in forks travel/quality between those option?
Asking because still not sure which should I get. (Z or ZE)
Also any history or electronic suspension failure?
Wonder if anybody had problem with this design where they bolt skid plate and side stand directly to the engine.
I know it's not an off-road bike but many take it there and I have seen many pictures with engine case broken when stone hit the
side stand mounted like that. Mostly on KTM 1290...
just realized they don't come standard :(
What come standard is kinda not comfortable for passenger,
what is it, cost cutting or what? this is touring bike after all.
just wonder if it's worthy to pay for OEM heated grips when will be ordering bike or it's better save money and get oxford?
Is OEM effective as well, is there integration with dashboard display somehow?
thanks
hi,
just asking because these are the only things which put me off from buying this great bike.
Probably I will still buy Super Tenere soon for long distance touring but still I'd like to have option to
disable these enforced upon rider "features".
big adventure bikes offroad test, bmw R1200 GS, yamaha super tenere, triumph Explprer, and KTM 990 - super tenere broke first, badly...
look at 4:12 ::)

???
this is for me the biggest drawback and disadvantage of super tenere so far.
Same as ABS which you cannot simply switch off like in bmw GS is a nonsense,
fortunately people already figured it out how to disable ABS so I can live with that.
But linked breaks??? come on honda tried that and...
hi, are you sure super tenere is built in Japan? I have seen such post.
because I know e.g. yamaha xt660z tenere is not, is built in Italy, France etc
I am seriously considering buying one but made in japan is the main requirement.
thanks
