The only place you want to make contact with the bearing going on the stem is around the inner edge. Put grease on the bearing and stem, use something that touches the bearing flush all around the edge and push it on in a press. Put the hammer back in the tool box.

I came from a Wing to the Tenere and yes the Wing is more stable in crosswinds. It will also suck a tank of gas dry going into a headwind. I was out West on I10 heading into a 50mph headwind once and got barely over 20mpg.

I would go over his head and call the owner or manager and tell him I will give you $xxxx out the door. The Tenere isn't a hot seller for any dealer and he may want to get rid of it. The salesman may not have very much incentive to deal with you.

No, I said that you CAN draw air into a system and not have a leak and that's exactly what I meant. Master cylinders will let air be drawn in by the cup on the piston, but fluid pushing on the cup will seal it against the walls of the bore and not let fluid out. Works the same as a check valve.

A warped caliper would come in to play if the wheel was turning and pushing the pads/pistons back in a little farther than normal, but I don't think it would do anything sitting still. Also a warped caliper isn't going to cause air to continuously get into the system. You would also feel the...
