Super Tenere ECU Flash - recommendation

I had the full dyno work done by CJS on my Gen1 and it transformed the bike, completely agree it was more than worth the cost.

    Flash for better milage.

I have owned my 2013 from new, I had my ECU flashed and spent the day on the dyno yesterday and the 130 miles back were the best miles ever and I couldn't care less about the cost of fuel ::015::

    2013 Super Tenere XT1200z :UK

Thank you all for your comments, and all those that pm'd requesting parts... ;D I agree that I'll be taking a big hit either way, I never thought this would be an issue as the XT was meant to be my 'forever bike' when I bough it new, while bike No.2 was meant to be the 'weekend' bike...

    2013 Super Tenere XT1200z :UK

I obviously know what the total retail of my bike and accessories cost, but used prices seem a little flat for good used examples. Unfortunately due to dodgy joints I am no longer confident in taking the weight of my lovely XT. I will add some pictures in due course (when it's dry enough to...

What exhaust have you got and where did you get it and for how much !

I went with the Remus. Sounds fantastic, deep and not too loud. The quality up close is better than expected.

Hello from UK (south) S10 purchased 2014 Gen 1

Re: Hello from UK (south) potential S10 purchase Hi from Kent, UK. Have to say I have a pretty sorted 2013 but still occasionally feel the pull of the upgrade when I'm in the showroom. Generally whichever you choose will become your best friend!

Remus Hexacone Ti/Carbon - Sounds great with the baffle removed. no issues with melting anything. Looks good too! Only down side is my mpg has gone down, but I don't mind as my smiles per gallon has gone up. :)

    Helmet lock options?

I use a D-Lock through the front of my helmet and the centre of my handlebars, I can fit two helmets this way and is very secure. Using a steel able I can double it up as a lock for the bike too by wrapping one end to the front wheel and the other in the D-lock.

    Big thank you to Altrider

Within a week after my bike hitting the deck Altrider EU replaced my engine bars at a fantastic price. I was able to bend the mount tabs back into place on the frame (thanks TABASCO) and refit them, all the plastics sprung back into place and the radiator was unharmed. It happened 10 days...

bent tab on frame, bend it back?

Thanks Tabasco, I was leaning towards that option. I really don't want to lose the bike to the insurance company. I was quite impressed overall with how the bike handled the ordeal, and it was a bonus that I could pick it up and ride it home.

bent tab on frame, bend it back?

I hit a car after it cut in front and braked hard. I attempted to avoid it and braked hard, I managed to swerve the front wheel round it's right but the engine bar punctured the bumper and was bent back towards me, I was then thrown forward and dropped the bike on it's right. The garage checked...

    MCN new S10 write up

I stopped buying the mcn some time ago as their journalism sucked balls, but due to train delays I grabbed one to fill the time yesterday morning and really wish I hadn't wasted my money.
