What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I just replaced the rear set with just a discoloration of pad material. No damage on the rotor yet but it would have very soon! Good catch.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Is that a magnetic bag? I like that even though it is smaller. Fit new tank and on rough terrain a plus!

Have sales strategies changed or am I just getting old?

Yes, it has changed since Covid. Even cars now there isn't much dealing. Still I know people who have gotten good deals on 23 leftover bikes. Keep looking!

RDL Driver and passenger seat/Passenger floorboards/Driver footpeg mounts

You may get a better response if you put in what dimensions the seat was made for. Such as height, weight, inseam of person. The same questions RDL asked when you ordered it. Because expensive custom seats are worthless if they weren't built for something very close to the buyers dimensions...

    Reunion Ride

Just be conscious about gas by Oark. I didn't think that I needed to stop for gas while there as there were towns on the map. A lot of those "towns" had 3 to 4 houses and sometimes even a church. I was down to about 10 miles left when I finally got gas. I didn't have cell coverage to find gas...

    Disappointing result LED (H7) upgrade

Take it for a ride where you have trees, mountains or something going up from the roadside. I found that from the factory that my headlights were pointing way to high and most of my light was not going on the road or projecting forward where I needed it. My Oxilam LEDS didn't seem a whole lot...

    Tire Size/Availability/Retailer Question

Last summer we went up there. Cycledude had on Dunlop trail max all the way up and all the way back to Wisconsin. His tires could have probably gone back up again. They looked that good. I had MotoZ Tractionator GPS tires up and back. No problems even in muddy goo going over the Brooks Range.

    Fog light

I'm always expecting them to try and hit me. I did have a person turn left into me a couple of years ago in WV. I had on low beam Headlights but they are a very bright LED and bright driving lights on my wing. Broad daylight, 2 lane and no traffic. Came within an inch or less of hitting me. I...

Gear Shifter Little Resistant to Shifting

I remove the bolt and clean the threads and bearing surface well and then put bearing grease on it... not the threads though!. From memory I believe that the manual tells you to put blue thread locker on the threads. I just did this in my thread with pics "what TenereGUY has been up to " if you...

    New Tenere Owner Into

Welcome from Northern Illinois. There are tires that are very good on gravel that will easily go 6,000 miles. Motoz, Dunlop Trail Max are two manufacturers that I have personally seen go the distance. That Dunlop will get you all the way to SC and back and handle gravel just fine too.

    Airbox mod

If you never take this off pavement or are in rainy conditions on gravel/dirt roads then removing the 90° elbow probably won't matter. After being in rainy conditions and muck I found dried mud splattering on the intake. They didn't make it past the inlet with its 90° bend. It is there to remove...

    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

I'll look into it. Tabasco probably will know right off though. Edited up date: is that a plastic or steel bolt? Ok, I got out my manual (2015-2023) and looked for an exploded view. Page 4-18 shows the view of the electrical tray and removal. First photo is of the page. 2nd photo is of the...

    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

At 75 to 80 mine plummets too... but even lower with those wide panniers. Stripped of the panniers and not loaded I get 50 at 63 to 65 mph. Bags on it goes to 40. 75 drops to 30 to 32.
