Losing rear brake after a good bleed.

Add me to the list. 2015 es with 13k miles, bike was a leftover bought new in 2018, still on original rear brakes that have plenty of life left, had brake fluid flush at 12k miles, bike lives in Hawaii, road use only, developed spongy rear pedal. Two pump cycles bring rear brake back until I...

    Post your mileage.

I am amazed at the high mileage people have done. I am embarrassed to report 15,000 miles on my 2012. I do have 4 other bikes I split my limited riding time on. I do love my bike and feel great to hear the high mileage it can go.

To sell or not to sell?

I had 05 fjr with Wilbur suspension, heavy, but fast and fun. My fj09 with andreanni and Nitron is also fun. Neither of those are as comfortable on longer rides. The fj09 has more legroom than the fjr and would be great in the twisties.

To sell or not to sell?

I run pr4 tires, penske and stoltec fork upgrades, ecu flash. It is heavy, but I use mine as street only and it is my comfortable long distance sport tourer.

    Hawaii check in

$200 each way to ship bike, $200+ for round trip airfare for me. I am gonna start a business and won't have much free time to island hop, so only day rides for me. I enjoy the fact I can run or bicycle anytime due to the warm weather.

    Five years old today

Late to post as I have been away for too long. I still have my pre-order 2012 and still love it. I have added a fj09 to the stable which is entertaining. No plans to get rid of my tenere. only 15,000 miles and a lot of life left.

Who will be changing there chain tensioner to the 14' during valve adjustment ?

Mine didn't go as planned. Mechanic took out old cct and pop. Cam lobe moved and chain skipped timing. Little more work and valve adjustment later all is well. Along with clutch basket it is quieter and smoother. Just wish it was as easy as the rest of yours.
