How to mount a Garmin, which size, model did you go for?

Yes I would like the Motopumps mount... but I have just ordered the same type mount within the UK. It's half the price but not as nicely machined or finished as the Motopumps one.

How to mount a Garmin, which size, model did you go for?

Garmin has always served me well in GPS form for sailing. .. your life depends on it quite often in fog etc! Decided to buy the XT, hopefully picking one up this afternoon if they answer the phone and have stock :)

How to mount a Garmin, which size, model did you go for?

I would like it on the bar above the screen (Quad lock already there however on one side) does yours fit? Any idea if Garmin are going to update their models if I buy now? Thanks.

    Sleeping bags

I suppose most of us turn over quite a bit during the night, sleep on our backs and sides. Most bags need a snug fit to be effective, but when you turn, the bag turns with you. If the bag is big, as The name of your bag implies you can maybe turn within it ;)

    Sleeping bags

Thanks for letting me know about Snugpak, especially the 'Special Forces Complete System' (two bags in one that attach together when required, goes down to -15 comfort level -20 if needed!). Pricey at £300 so held off, then OutdoorGB.com said they were selling them for £250. I bought one and...

    Sleeping bags

What wild camping group is that, sounds interesting. I am going to Sweden this year and hopefully onto Norway, mostly wildcamping to keep costs down. You never really know where you can wild camp until you get into the area. Not sure how electric bags, batteries, keeping them charged would work...

    Sleeping bags

OK loads of video reviews watched and forum reviews read... going for the Snugpac Special Forces combi system. It's more than I wanted to pay at £300 but all the features make it good value, especially the fact you get the option of using a summer and winter bag separately which combined will...

    Sleeping bags

I spent a while looking at the Snugpack products, they became my first choice BUT there are so many reviews and videos saying the zips snag which make owners suggest going for a bag with a non snag zip. The top of the range (pricey!) Snug Pack which I think is the one you describe is non snag...

    Mosko Moto pannier advice!

Matt, I would definitely get the Mosko gear. It's better value! It is regarded as the benchmark, the best with regard to design, quality and practical features which are adaptable with many add ons ( not just Mosko stuff, I have ordered Army kit to go on as it uses the same system). It's what...
