My S10, 2012 going thru my third battery. I put in the new battery today, starts fine, runs as good as before but now I have Check engine light on permanently. What is going on ?

Hello Everyone: I got my S10ere finally last week after getting rid of my 2010 Multistrada !! Altrider crash bars went on last night, by Monday I will have the Altrider skid plates on there. I will be looking into buying some panniers by the end of the year, any suggestions? What do you think...
