Yes the oil is moto specific, I just changed the oil and filter. The Mobil 1 filter would not clear the bracket for the altrider skid plate, so I picked up a Wix, the top of the Wix has a slight angle as compared to to the mobile 1. This allowed the Wix to slide right in. Put in about 3.7...
