One for all or all for one

Silverbullet and others that have been to the PH can probably attest to this. Bike groups often stick their hazard lights on here (especially "big" bikes) and ride with an expectation that others will part the waters for their self-entitled crap riding skills. I have, on my solo forays, had to...

One for all or all for one

I generally "suggest" during the pre-ride conversation that the slowest rider heads out first and, for those following, to not to press closely. That way the pace is comfortable and not determined by machismo bs. I have been in groups where there is a hot-head contingent and it can become...

One for all or all for one

I prefer to ride alone, but I am invited to runs with two local groups and with 5/6 close friends. When I'm with the group rides I tend to see situations that others either seem not to anticipate or ignore - this can detract from the enjoyment somewhat, but I love their company and the laughs we...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I was thinking of the release of the front would release just to the foot operated rear for low speed traffic, which I believe you were trained to do, etc. But as I said, what makes sense to me may not be how it operates, so I defer to those that have the bike.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Just the back from a control perspective I would think, but then I do not own a Tenere - there will be someone along with a reminder soon enough...

Playing a triangle out-of-step in Kindergarten and detracting from the overall performance is nothing to be proud of my friend... Ballisticexchris is not here to defend himself and still your butthurt bleating continues. I kept quiet whilst he was here and the nonstop poking with a stick was...

Apart from stopping myself from REALLY REALLY responding to your insulting and demeaning comments to Chris, I am very comfortable is saying so. I gave you so many chances to bury the hatchet. But anyone who disagrees with you and digs their heels in - YES, I again yield that YOU may be...

    where has ballisticechris gone

It was fueled by a certain number of "respected" members fanning the flames. The last post of responses to Chris were really fanning the flames and had me biting my tongue for the benefit of the forum - really biting, as before I had been "informed" that I was only here to stir things up. That...
