    Problem comes if u overload a mono lock usually the rack is only designed for 6kg . Box is prob about 3kg so it doesnt take much capacity wise before u are over the limit and the fixings give way

    It's like the fjr, the oe top cases are mono lock so only take a very low weight capacity . Pop a monokey 46 ltr top box on the oe rack and watch as it waves goodbye and comes off.........

    I know Ducati and BMW cases in Europe have speed limit notices inside them.......just checked and Kawasaki does as well.......again all are 130 km ...

    So I went and checked in our parts dept , all the oe luggage had weights limits and non oe cases eg kappa , givi etc have speed limit warnings in them as well . Most seem to be 130 km........

    Well the Ducati is an outstanding bit of kit , very comfy , excellent brakes , good on fuel and servicing is actually not that bad . Downsides are poor full beam , keyless ignition is pointless and u have to do the rear brake fluid every year as the cat boils the fluid on seriously hot days ...
