I did so much research on dealers and tons recommend these guys. I'm good for another 50k I haven't looked at it close yet so I'll check er over before I head out this weekend!
It was at a dealer, it was wayyyyyyyyy to much. 750 after tax with new spark plugs. Every place i called was around 600-800 to do this job by me. :/ I have no plans on getting rid of the bike so it was money well spent. I told the guy nobody has ever worked on it before but me Lol
Picked mine up from having the valves adjusted. First time with 46,000 miles. Spark plugs were spotless, so the O-ring and dielectric grease did their job! First time someone else touched my bike to work on it :(
Appreciate the help everyone, got the seal swapped and flushed the fluid on the other fork since the seals only had 10k miles. re-assembled and am awaiting weather when it's above 10 degrees and I can give it a test drive.
I am doing the fork seals and there's a extra plastic washer that I don't see mentioned in the service manual or YouTube video I'm watching. If I leave it in I cannot get the fork seal to seat completely to get the snap ring in. Any ideas? I've been working on this for a few hours now and ready...
Nice pics! I'm heading to the area from green bay Wisconsin on Saturday for probably a week. Going to be following cannonshot Ozark tour trail see how much I can get done.
Alt rider here, dropped my bike on some large rocks and they did their job, didn't bend just got scratched up. They look alright to, I have the upper one aswell.
mine came with one installed, the holes were drilled, I can't imagine it staying on with tape very long. After I broke that one off, I put another one on and broke it off within 10 miles. I wouldn't run one ever again if you off road at all.
I'll probably swing by tonight and see what's up, I saw 3 of yous on the highway this afternoon , I was on a tan super tenere and a KTM 890 was behind me
I'm up the road at custer mtns campground right up the road if anyone wants to ride tomorrow. I didn't realize the event was this week :) otherwise I'll swing thru Thursday.
Awesome thanks, mounting them on the crash bars it is! I appreciate the response!
Im looking at getting the Denali D4 and they should both fit in there haha! Thanks!
Does anyone know if Denali Aux light mount works with the Alt Rider upper crash bars? I dont want to order a 52 dollar mount and have it not work, Ive searched high and low! I would prefer the mount over mounting them to my crash bars if possible.
