Black Hills Yamaha Super Tenere Rendezvous July 22nd - 25th, 2021 - Custer Crazy Horse Campground, Custer SD

Been putting this off hoping I could figure it out, but alas I don't think this is my year to cross this off my list damn it. I haven't called to cancel my cabin yet but probably will soon. If someone wants it send me a message maybe we can make sure that happens.

Mosko Moto releases new Luggage yesterday

Am I wrong but isn't the x frame symmetrical? So if that's the case I would but the same bag on each side at least in my opinion just as an optical thing. I'm not taking my 600lbs of tenere into places that I'm really worried about width to the point of losing 10L of storage. I have 2 35L on...

Black Hills Yamaha Super Tenere Rendezvous July 22nd - 25th, 2021 - Custer Crazy Horse Campground, Custer SD

So I just did the thing and reserved cabin 10. FYI I believe she said one cabin left for the group being 9 but don't hold me to that. Hoping I can make this happen going to be pushing it from Delaware but this is a bucket list item for me. Hoping my wife warms up to the idea sooner than later...

Mosko Moto releases new Luggage yesterday

Prefect timing although they are comparing the original version of the mokso backcountry bags.

Mosko Moto releases new Luggage yesterday

To each their own, that must have been one hell of a sale. You can add bags to just about anywhere on the Mosko stuff except maybe the scouts which collapse smaller than these ever could. They are nice but as I said to each their own I'll stick with the Mosko stuff.

Mosko Moto releases new Luggage yesterday

Looks like a nice design some taken from Mosko, but holy hell I thought mosko was a bit over priced until I saw those prices. I paid less for my moose racing cases.

    Outback Motortek

I'm here to tell you that I've personally lodged my Strom on a rock to the point I was almost thrown off the bike and it teeter tottered on the outback skid plate. I was moving looking down trail and missed how big it was doing at least 10-15mph when I hit it. Plate was fine took some powder...

Is this the right bike for me?

If your capable of handling the 600lbs then I think this bike ticks an amazing amout of boxes. Not very much in the way of peg lowering which was something I was hoping for. I believe there are pegs that will give you a small amount but not much for the $$. I have a 30" inseam and normally am on...

Outback Crash bars and skid plate

Had their stuff on both my stroms and loved them always did their job and never moved. If something happens to the rumbux setup on my tenere I'll be switching over to outback.

    The Darkside.......

Wasn't on an st so take it with a grain of salt. My ws60 snow tire on my Strom wore less than 1/32 in just over 10k miles over 3 winter seasons. Granted that was never highspeed ( I mean triple digits plenty at 80 though) and very rarely 2 up. Not that the load should matter much the weight...

    Terry Adcox seats

I had him make me a seat for my first Strom, the seat and me didn't meld (not his fault) but my wife loved her seat and made our week long trip in Maine 1800+ miles possible. He is a stand up guy and if I decided to have another seat made he'll be my first call.

    darkside / car tire ????

Would like to see that and I highly doubt it would stand up in court in the USA too many millions of miles ridden in car tires, with DOT #s on a tire not much they can say. NM that's some Canadian BS fortunately we have gone that socialist yet here but who knows how long that will last. After...

Shinko 712 and SR741 Rear Tires?

Didn't like the 712s at all on a buddies tiger 800, I felt safer on 705s. They handled pretty well but they are the only tire I've ever gotten that bike to activate abs with and that includes e07 panic stopping for deer. It wasn't just once or twice either the rear seemed to activate the abs...

    WARNING Shinko E705 tire

I'm assuming you've checked your wheel bearings and had the dealer check the rim for true? I'm biased on this so take my words knowing that but if I have a bike of that style and weight it would never have anything but a CT on it, but that's me and you have to make your own decision on what your...

    WARNING Shinko E705 tire

Pretty sure the 712 are the crappiest (is that a word) shinko they make, not one of the others I've ran 705s,804/805, mobbers or 244s have been like they are not sure what the deal with them is

    darkside / car tire ????

Looked into to those a few years ago CT was just more cost effective then, might have to look again, but as said 300 for a rear is a bit much
