where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

Finished the Continental Divide Route, riding from SC to NM, the US/Mexico Border, then North to Pole Bridge, MT, the US/Canada Border, then back home to SC. Over 7800 miles driveway to driveway. Working on my pictures and videos for my RR which I’ll post in Tall Trails. Some teasers:

WTT for Stock Gen 2 Windscreen

@richarddacat The Givi windscreen is great, just too big for my liking off-road.

    Mitas E09 Experience

I understood you perfectly! I think there are better options for the front than the E09. The rear is brilliant, but needs paired with a different front, perhaps the E10, Anakee Wild, TKC80. I am leaning towards the Anakee WIld. It's an expensive game trying tires.

    Mitas E09 Experience

The front doesn't bite, likes to wash really quickly. The knobs on the E09 front are very small, and not very tall even when new. I am not an expert, or an engineer, but I think the weight of this bike needs larger knobs and a larger surface area in contact up front when offroad. Or my riding...

    Mitas E09 Experience

Here's my Mitas E09 Dakar rear tire after 3300 miles compared to a fresh E09. I love the E09 rear off road, and it handles great on road too, even in the wet. The front E09 I do not like off road, on road is fine. Planning late August to ride the CDR 2-up and don't think a fresh E09 will last...

    Led Install with Deftoner Caps

I recently replaced my busted headlight stay, and installed some nav-bar stabilizers that I make and sell, and can now powdercoat in pretty much any color. Since I had the headlight out, I upgraded the fronts to Novasight LEDs with Deftoner's caps, which are quality kit. Pics or it didn't...

WTT for Stock Gen 2 Windscreen

I am looking to trade for a stock Gen 2 windscreen. I can trade my Givi 2119ST screen in good condition, Soupy's Lowering Links (never used), or Rox Pivoting Risers in good condition.

    Always look your bike over

I too do a pre-trip inspection every ride. First trip after any maintenance I do a more thorough inspection, because I always assume the guy who did the maintenance (Me) may have made a mistake.
