    Hi from UK

You will benefit more from an ECU flash on the Gen 1 Super10 than the Gen2 and yes, it should remove the restrictions in the lower gears. The company is CJS Racing and they are probably the best in the country...

    Thank You and Good Night

I did exactly the same a few months ago, I bought a Tracer 9 GT+ and I am very happy with it. Looking forward to finding out what bike you have chosen to replace your SuperTen with!

Hi Mark, sorry, I forgot about you being in the Republic, some people have a lot to answer for the UK getting shafted by Brexit!!! Good luck with your search, you won’t be disappointed.

If you are looking for a bike that will get you to Nordkapp and back again, then the Super Tenere is made for just that. For My money, the post 2014 bikes are the ones to look for, what is your budget and are you willing to travel to mainland UK for the right bike? I know of 3 really nice ones...

Concern about weight of Givi Outback Trekker top box

Get a Givi rack. I did thousands of miles with my Givi aluminium top box mounted on a Givi aluminium rack and most of those miles were done with an overloaded top box without any problems at all. Altrider racks have a reputation for cracking and breaking.

    Tracer 9 GT+ test ride

I agree, but the issue with the shaft is weight and the bogey man that is Euro 5 compliance. The shaft requires more energy (due to the weight and power loss), and more energy means more emissions. Having said that, I am a massive fan of shaft drive.

    New MV AUGUSTA 931cc

Scary? Why? Ducati have had a 4 year warranty for about 2 or 3 years now. I think it shows that the manufacturer has confidence in the product, unlike BMW where you have to pay to extend the warranty. I believe that Suzuki are offering life long warranties on condition the bike is serviced at a...

    Tracer 9 GT+ test ride

That is because it is DIFFERENT from the Super 10 and I didn’t compare it with my old ST, it’s like comparing apples and orange, they are both fruit, but they are different.Personally, I love my Tracer 9 GT+, it makes me smile every time I ride it. I bought it because I wanted something a bit...

    Used S10 advice

Maybe, just maybe, if we knew where the bikes were located, then someone from this forum may know of them or even take a look and relay back to you their opinion? Just a thought.

    Fitting soft grips.

Yes, the stock bar weights simply need an Allan headed wrench to remove. You may find that Yamaha were a little generous with the locking fluid, but they will unscrew. By the way, I had Grip Puppies on my Kawasaki Versys 1000, they worked very well indeed for me and did exactly what it said on...

How misinformation has slowly help kill the 1200XTZ

I think, that if Yamaha do decide to build an adventure/tourer bigger than 700cc then it will be built around what is hailed as probably the best motorcycle engine ever, the 3 cylinder 890cc CP3. It is an amazing motor but I cant see it having a shaft drive.

Lowering the fork legs in the triple clamp; how deep can I go?

Why? Why would you want to raise the front? All you will be doing is to kick out the front wheel and it will start to handle like a chopper and push the front even more.

    Most comfortable ear plugs?

Last year, I bought some custom made ear plugs from Ultimate Ear, (https://ultimateear.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw2PSvBhDjARIsAKc2cgPOVVukipeB0M40t3HtNT3oJ-or4w8BsrW6VMz4LZVaA1wve8cWItMaAgPZEALw_wcB), and although they weren’t cheap, they are worth their weight in gold! Quite simply, they...

    Hello from Norway

Hello and welcome! I have just got back from Kirkenes, no, not on my bike at this time of year, but it is on my bucket list! I actually travelled from Bergen to Kirkenes and back on the Hurtigruten, heartily recommended, Norway is such a beautiful, rugged and dramatic country.
