    Calling all clean freaks.

I have to say I'm far happier riding my bike than cleaning it but I do make sure it gets a half decent clean at the end of the summer before I give it a good coat of ACF50 using a spray gun. Thw bit I'm struggling with is the wheel hubs, between the spokes, I've got brushes of different sizes...

will radiator be ok for a 1 hr ride without the bottom oem crash bar support

That's sad, no one knows what goes on inside the head of people. This mechanic has worked for a few businesses and spent a lot of time as pit crew during enduro events. My valves will need looking at next year and it's the one job I won't do myself, I guess we are lucky here that there is...

will radiator be ok for a 1 hr ride without the bottom oem crash bar support

I can vouch for Rowan too, he's a decent giy and a cracking mechanic, bit of a perfectionist too. Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk

What's your "MECCA" on your bucket list?

This is a great read (rather long) of a trip to Mongolia, its probably what sparked my interest. I'm sure Longdog would have seen this on UKGSer at some point...

    Recommended tires

I'm like most and seem to be the other way around, the fronts wear faster than the rear which although not worn out is squared off enough to warrant changing the pair, I have to say it was the same on my V-strom. Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk

    cardo packtalk bold (help needed)

Rob I have all sorts of issues with my Sena stuff and other brands, the answer is in the order in which stuff is connected or turning off what you don't need. Connect your phone to the sat nav rather than your lid, connect your sat nav to your comms then your wifes as a universal pairing (as...

Touratech side racks - can you mount monokey Givi / Kappa on them?

You can buy the Touratech pucks that you bolt to your panniers but you'd need to be very accurate with the drilling! Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk

    Protecting coils, dialectric grease etc.

Quite a few of us have fitted an old uk licence plate to reduce spray further, it doesn't seem to have any impact on cooling. There is another thread on this somewhere. Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

On a V-Strom the extenders were used to reduce buffeting as the mirrors channelled the air behind the screen which rolls up and causes turbulence, I fitted them to my S10 and found they improved things but as the mirrors are smaller and a better shape there was less of an impact. Keeping Wheel Spray off of Engine

Quite a few of us have fitted an old uk licence plate to the front of the engine which stops most of it. I've also added a plate to the skid plate to protect the oil filter and to stop the fender extender getting caught (again!). Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk
