where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

Down there by Numa/Seymour area. Such towns in Southern Iowa that have old buildings and a boarded up Main St that speak to what once was. It’s fascinating to imagine what these towns were like in the former rail road days when they were bustling with business. Nice ride.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Nice plate idea probably helps to keep the soft bags firmed up. How do you like the Nelson Rigg soft bags? Are they holding up, decent to work with, and stable in the wind. I'm leaning toward those as the best inexpensive option that I've searched.

Changed spark plugs and air filter on my 2015 S Tenere with 20K mi. First time doing plugs for this novice mechanic; anxiety wore off after getting the easy plug out. (Credit Bill Pacheco YouTube vid assist) Took it for a ride and runs great.

Have you done any rides of similar style (easy fire roads) west if Fort Collins? I’m visiting that area in a couple weeks and could use some suggestions.

911 miles of Missouri Back Roads

Saturday I rode down and did some of the trails in a loop starting on Billy Creek at Novinger. Due to the rain/snow causing sticky wet clay/dirt, I turned around as the gravel ended on the trails, which was often. But I can see the fun when passable. Beautiful cow-calf country.

where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

You two and your Kirksville area pics are prompting me to ADV a little further south. Last weekend I went to Des Moines River road near Douds/Keosauqua but not as cool as south of the border. Do you use a paper map source, GPS, or just ride and see where the road goes? I’m the latter but use my...
