    BMW GS Update

Once again, to each their own. BUT, after living with the Beemer, past the warranty, I have no desire for another one. The Tenere just feels right....to me. And, the knowledge that nothing will likely break, and leave me on the side of the road. Lower initial investment, parts that are...

    Rear caliper

So, if it IS done (mounting the caliper to the swingarm) on some shaft drives....what is the advantage of doing/not doing it? I never really paid attention to the difference between the FJR and Tenere. I just took them apart, and put them back together. MY guess would be durability?

    Rear caliper

That's ok, I'm still not understanding why the caliper is different between shaft and chain. It still looks like the axle is going through the caliper assembly. And, I still don't understand why shaft drive bikes can't secure the caliper to the swing arm like chain drive bikes. For the most...

    Madhatter wants a dirt bike….

The shop I go to will patch/plug the rear tire, but not the front. These are the only type I trust/use. Down side is that the tire does have to be removed.

That turkey looks delicious. Can almost smell it. :p Tonight was the lasagna, with Vernors ginger ale. Used to be a Michigan only brand, but it finally made it's way to Texas. It's not the same as when I was a kid, but it beats the heck out of Canada Dry.

    new tires for my S10

If you're not set on those three, take a look at picking up some Bridgestone Battle Wings. The came OE, they're cheap, and I liked the grip. There's a question as to whether they've been discontinued or not. I switched from them, to the Bridgestone A41s. They're 90/10 tires, and they seem to...
