All I can say is that I am really happy with the kit. I think it made my run-of-the-mill blue 2012 looking a lot more aggressive.

I bought a kit on Ebay and it also came with that extra one. I am assuming for a different windshield.

Removing the air box to access the radiator fan wire lead to this interesting discovery....not a good one... As I mentioned the bike got ridden really hard, so I am hoping it just a side effect and will not reoccur after the clean up. I'll keep an eye and we'll see.

Yes I can confirm it's the same thing that happened. I removed the fan and tested the motor - no good. So now I need to get a new fan that does not cost an arm and a leg...

Mine got loose and got tangled in the rear hub...no bueno.. :) Looks like RM has it for $111 (ouch) but I thought I would check here first in case someone has it for sale thanks!

No it's just means I have new avenues to research... :) I am removing the tank right now so get to the motor wire to test it with 12V.

A few weeks ago we did a 4 days navigation rally which was rather difficult. I crashed several times and had to do some intense water crossing. At some point during the event the radiator fan got pushed against the radiator. Now it won't work. Initially we noticed that the 20A fuse was blown...

May I ask what was the hex tool used for this? I just reinstall 8 nipples on my front wheel...everything is loose...
