Just wasn't a fan of the shape and I think it's partly due to being on the shorter/lighter side. I prefer more of a plump/round shape versus a dish shape. I'm up against the tank with the stock seat and this one wants me to sit back into the... butt pocket

I'll see what Vegas had in mind first. Even if he doesn't buy either of them, I'd sell the rear seat separately for a reasonable offer. Thanks

Got the shock in yesterday! Feels pretty good so far. At 180lbs, the 130kg-220L spring they said I was in range for is 3/4 through the preload adjustment to hit 58 race sag. Not ideal, but it'll work for now. Doing some testing yesterday had me settle on these settings as a starting point. 12...

All said and done. I jumped to conclusions. The springs were the correct length and didn't need any of the washers or tube spacers that came with. My suspension guy gets some extra material and everyone's happy. Racetech up front is completed and test ridden. Really makes me notice the rear now...

The Ohlins and stock front spings are actually in my weight range. Only upgrading the front to go straight rate. I checked Sonics weight chart for the front, not sure what I'd do with the Ohlins rear. I'll try to remember to ask my suspension guy when I solidify my plans next week.

I guess the title of the thread is a bit misleading. I'm doing valving and a respring to compliment the ohlins rear that I ordered either way. Best bang for buck probably is oil and respring. But... When comparing racetech, to stoltec/penske and ohlins... or other options. Racetech being $100...
