Brake light wires color and location

I asked a few days ago the location and color of the brake/tail light colors. Well the tail light wires run under the factory luggage rack which is under the passenger seat on the left side of the bike. You’ll find two black looms running all the way to the rear. The slightly thinner one located...

    It appears to be Official....

Being on my 3rd S10 and over 150k and counting, I have no interest in a 900cc triple chain drive S10.

The wire color is model year dependent.

To lightbar or not to lightbar that is the question.

I run 2 Rigid D2 floods up front (warrantied for life). By far the best accessory ever. I run them during the day to be seen and wired to the high beam switch for easy night time use. I have great nighttime visibility now. The lights already have over 100,000 miles of "being on" use. I will say...

The Yamaha Super Tenere and FJR1300 have disappeared from the Yamaha USA website.

I just searched all over Yamaha's website. Not a single mention of the 2024 S10 I can find anywhere.

The Yamaha Super Tenere and FJR1300 have disappeared from the Yamaha USA website.

I've watch this thread start every year but this year is NOT "here we go again". This is the first year the bike has been completely removed from the website. All prior years they leave the prior years bike page up way too long and people just speculate its not returning. This year they pulled...

    Useful Torque Figures

Thank you so much. One pipe was def looser than the other causing a difference in coloration. 14lbs does seem too few. My tighter one was about 20 from factory.

    XTZ12EJ vs XTZ12EJC

The “C” will be on the title.

    XTZ12EJ vs XTZ12EJC

The C is a California model. Usually just sold in California unless dealers do a swap or it’s used and followed the owner out of state. It has more emissions crap (can’t tell you exactly what). More to go wrong. Try to avoid the California mode. Also on some models the California model kills a...

Brand new, all dash lights are on. Help?

This is my 15th bike and 3rd S10. My '17 was flawless and I traded it at 61,000 miles. My '19 had a couple of issues covered under warranty, just traded it with 65,000 miles. How it compares to everything else I've had isn't quite fair because different models had such different purposes. As an...
