where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

Headed north from home through the mid north of the state and tonight I’m in the town of Hawker in the Flinders Ranges. Silo art is a big thing here in parts of Australia. Rode my first dirt and gravel on the S10 today and was impressed with how much confidence it gives me in those conditions...

    Solo Moto-Camping Trip | 10 States. 2 Weeks. 4,299.5 miles

I don’t enjoy reading riding stories if it’s all sunny skies and no drama. That’s not real life. Your experience is why I ride. The sunny skies are great too but the rough days make it real. I know a lot of riders don’t leave their garage without checking the rain radar and the thermometer. But...

Great to see a new rider with the right gear getting out of the urban commute on their bike. Some great motorcycle roads in Otago.

Heal tech Speedo Healer wont let bike run.

So this is the response from the Aussie Heal Tech dealer. Hi Your bike requires 2 x SpeedoHealer 2pcs SH-V4 + SH-U01 The supplementary manual you looked at is for the 2010 - 2013 Fantastic! Of zero help. Must have got the work experience kid to respond to my message which clearly spelt out...

Heal tech Speedo Healer wont let bike run.

I think you’re right Cycledude. I’ve reconnected the wire I cut yesterday and everything works as per normal. A wiring diagram for this bike would be helpful right now.

Heal tech Speedo Healer wont let bike run.

Thanks for that EricV. There are 5 blue wires to choose from that connect to the ECU. One has a black trace, one a red trace and one a yellow trace. The other two are marked with grey dots. I’m going with the theory it’s the other wire with grey dots.

Heal tech Speedo Healer wont let bike run.

Hmmm, on close inspection and referring to the photos on the Adv Rider site, I think I may have chosen the wrong blue wire. I've also contacted the Healtech agents here in Aus to see what they think.

Heal tech Speedo Healer wont let bike run.

Hi folks, so today I fitted a Heal Tech Speedo Healer to my S10. I carefully read the previous threads and looked at all the photos including the information on the Adventure rider site. I checked everything step by step as I went. I double checked before reassembling the bike and set up the SH...

    Using intercom with ear plugs.

Thanks for all the quick responses. I've checked out the links and its given me some more ideas so I appreciate that. There are a lot of variables at play in this scenario. People's hearing is a big one along with helmet brand and also the device you have connected. I've tried this without ear...

    Using intercom with ear plugs.

Hi folks, I regularly wear molded earplugs when I'm riding. I'm considering getting a blue tooth style intercom mainly to communicate with others and to listen to tunes. I want to know if I will be able to hear the intercom with my earplugs in place. Does anyone have experience with this...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I got two new hoops fitted by my regular tyre fitter, Don. His shop is littered with various dead two wheeled contraptions, mainly of the scooter variety and the shelves have a lot of dust covered items that will probably crumble in your hands if you bought them. However he always knows the...

Officially Official break in ride (LONGER POST)

I’m sure you are so familiar with the flags on the hydrants you don’t even see them. We still have a few above ground hydrants here where I live in Australia but I don’t think it’s ever reached even 0° c (32° F ?)here. I don’t find the stock seat too awful either but I’m using an old Air Hawk...

Officially Official break in ride (LONGER POST)

Apologies for hijacking your thread. Nothing like a decent ride somewhere to get to know your bike. I’ve had mine for 3 months and love being back on a twin after a 4 cylinder sports tourer for the last few years.
