Where to buy aftermarket parts in Germany

Louis.de doesn't sell most parts or tires. You can get battery, filters and sparkplugs. Great place for gear and all your supplies though.

Dolomite's were the highight for me as well, beyond description awesome. Spent one week there but with my homebase nearby in Austria. Next trip I will homebase in a small village in the heart of the Dolomite's and stay longer. Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk

Question for the Carpuride owners. I've definitely decided to buy one, now only one last decision. Any regrets on the 7" size of the 702? Seems almost too large for me. I'm torn thinking I would be happier with the 5" 502 model. Cost difference between the two is next to nothing. My vision is...

Thank you and anxiously awaiting what you experience. Touchscreen commands are of great interest also like when Google detects a traffic issue and suggests a route change. Touching the screen required sometimes to dismiss rerouting. Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk

    Touratech Travel Event 2024

Anybody going? https://www.touratech.de/events/travel-event.html By blind luck I just found out I am staying only 7 km away from this event on those exact dates. My Airbnb host just now informed me so I Googled and found it. PM me to exchange contact info and we could meet up. I plan to check...

Givi skid plate / crashbar question

That's funny as I have the opposite on my 2012 EU bike. Altrider crash bars and Givi skid plate. Fortunately I haven't had to test either yet but good peace of mind. Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk

I hear the Carpuride called a screen mirroring unit. Is this only using Android Auto with it or do other apps mirror to screen without Android Auto? Only function I want/need from this unit is to show Google maps on the screen and allow touch. Without AA being used battery life of cell phone...

How is this done? I found a reset for a non responding unit and a factory reset but nothing for a dead power unit. I have a Zumo 396. I suspected the battery failed as life when not in powered mount was getting very short, like <30 minutes. I have a buddy's dead screen 396 I planned to swap...

Looking for this bag... Do you know ?

Why is everybody still replying? gapmtn's link is 100% the exact bag and gives manufacturer name so Tabasco can source elsewhere since Amazon is out of stock. Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk

So consensus is Carpuride using Android Auto does consume a lot more battery from your phone. I do have power wired to my tank bag so I could keep it plugged in there. Really prefer it in my pocket though as business critical and cannot replace it when overseas for a month. Current trip found...

Once you guys get enough seat time in I would like to hear about cell phone battery life. Cell phone using Google maps with BT to Sena versus cell phone to Carpuride running Google maps via Android auto and BT to Sena. Does Carpuride use cell battery faster? Approx how much? I can run Google...

Thanks for that link, I didn't know those existed. That strikes a happy medium for me security wise. Prevents the quick and easy RAM twist and dash off with the unit. Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk

@gv550 @patrickg450 @thughes317 So do you guys just always leave the unit on the bike? I travel solo 99% of the time and worried about rest stops, grocery runs, etc. where bike is not in my eyesight. I guess for overnight stops removing by RAM mount and disconnecting power is not too bad but...

Gaia is a navigation app? So OsmAnd app would work with Carpuride as well? No quick release powered mount is a bummer. Except for the BMW version but then you need the BMW base. I wonder if the BMW mount is available at a reasonable price and easily adapted to a RAM mount.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I've done a similar hard wire for a different brand jump pack. But clamp leads are small enough I still carry them in case needed to help out another. Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk

Because you're still not getting it. Like what they do or not they are definitely working and running a business. Often employing others as well. If it was easy then everybody would be successful at it.

Solo Ride Coast To Coast- California To South Carolina (and back)

Have a good trip. I would check if your CCT has been updated and if not replace it upon your return or before. OEM Gen 1 CCT's have failed in the 40-50K mile range. If it does fail usually requires major engine work. Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk
