I thought us Americans were the only fat asses with a bad diet. Who knew? I have to disagree with the doc in regards of it being easy to control cholesterol with diet and exercise. Cholesterol is hugely affected by your genetics. Much more than your diet. On average of course. We've known this for decades. I'm a prime example. My dietary intake is doc approved, and I exercise like a madman. Yet I'm on a 10mg Crestor generic for cholesterol. Also on a blood pressure med (lisinopril). (Of course, the doctor's office affects the B.P. more than anything else)
As far as the shot causing cardiac arrest . . . . not saying it can't happen. But not everybody has the same genetic backgrounds. There's plenty of meds out there that are fine for 99% of the population but can kill the other 1%. Penicillin comes to mind. Great med, but not for everybody. And NOBODY is trying to do away with it.
Talk to y'all's doc(s). Make your own decisions. What's good for y'all, might not be good for me, and vice versa.

High cholesterol by genetics only affects a small percentage. For 99.5% of the population it can be controlled by diet and exercise.

And I'm guessing if Pfizer is saying this, Moderna should be too? Since Moderna has more "stuff" than Pfizer. But I'm thinkin' . . . . as many booster shots that I've had, and as much as I've grunted/strained/farted lifting weights, if I was going to see a negative reaction . . . . I'd have seen something by now.

Our government in the UK is offering a “roll up, roll up for your last chance for a covid booster by Feb 12”, after which they won’t be available (except maybe sometime in the future, perhaps for the “vulnerables” but we haven’t decided who, when or which vaccine yet, if any). How come there’s no need for the vaccine from then on? What about people who don’t get the booster by Feb 12? Are they in danger from covid? Was covid ever dangerous? If it was / is dangerous, why is there no need for a vaccine in future? We haven’t withdrawn all of the vaccines for other illnesses, so why this one suddenly?

I really dislike articles like this….very creative with terms like “more likely”. “Day 21 vs 22-44”. Sophistry at its finest
Wrong. Actually I did start reading it till it became more of the same old drivel discounting reality, then skimmed. As for numbers of dead, of course ANY vaccine will have an exceedingly small number of people who will have adverse effects. Duh. But the much much much greater number of people will be fine and we all benefit in the end.
So I'll stand with my original comment

This was not the initial message we were given by our government or the drug companies!
They told us "get the vax and you can return to life as normal". Only after "a few break through cases" became "many break through cases" which then became a preponderance of evidence pointing to the fact that many vaccinated people were still becoming infected/transmitting the infection, did the message change to "it will keep you from dying and reduce duration of illness".
I'm not saying the vax is a bad thing (got my shots early on), just saying that the vax should not have been sold as a vax but more so as a therapeutic (which it more closely resembles).
