Plenty of that between California, and Arkansas, south of I-40. Although not impossible to have snow, and salt, it is greatly reduced. Lots of year round riding temps. Of course, "rear round riding temps" are very subjective. I'm betting that if you ride out there, you'd find somewhere you like for a permanent local. Or, do like holligl, and "dual home" it.
Thanks for that, Sierra1. Two homes wouldn't work for us, but New Mexico's currently on the table. As for temps, 30's - low 100's is fine.
If family and health were no concern and I had my druthers I'd be in Belize or Costa Rica for the duration.

My neighbor kids just bought 2 ATCs - a 90 and a 110. $600 for the pair.

I offered them any help that they needed.

In the late 1970's/early 1980s, before the 185S and the 250R came out, you had to hop these up yourself. I spend a lot of time working at the motor cycle shop with motor mods (big cam, big carb, big bore, stroker crank, exhaust, jetting) and chrome-moly frames. If you'd hop those up, the force on the chain would be enough to twist the pressed steel frame, which would lead to a chain derailment and a hole in the case (by the 2-speed hi/lo range selector). It was great fun.

We'll see if the kids need help.

Me Circa 1981, my parents hated motorcycles because they were dangerous! Those were the halcyon days...Great posture BTW. My brother, a buddy and I went down to the Honda dealership and bought three new ones for $2400 for all.

Man those ATCs handled awfully on the street or on any real hard surfaces!
Kindly refrain from asking me how I know....

*That's not bad posture, it is how we all "rolled our shoulders" back then. ;)

I can't believe Arizona allows them on the street. We were out there a couple of years ago, and saw one in heavy traffic . . . . it had a license plate. o_O

Your temp range is pretty much what we get. South America is gonna have some wicked humidity. I hate humidity. :D
We've looked at Texas and honestly have never come to agreement on the place. I'm a little bit San Antonio and she's a little bit South Padre. Personally, I've never had a less than good experience in any place I've been there. Me too on the humidity. but if I'm moving I'm good. If not, the ocean, the pool, and the house would be my havens. And the beverages.

San Antone wouldn't be bad. Short trip to the "hill country", and the 'Sisters. Great riding, and scenery. Then it's a just a couple of hours drive to the coast. Go in the winter, 'cuz the summer humidity is pretty bad the closer you get to the water.

I rode one once in the early '80s. From 50 feet away I realized I would not get the thing stopped until I ran into the side of my car. Which was true.

My speed when I realized what was going to happen...10 maybe 15 MPH. Damn this twisted my motorcycle riding brain something awful.

Wow! Really brings back the times. Before it was developed and had only one hotel, my wife and I rode around Providenciales in the Turks to our hearts content with the only problem being having 2 M16's drawn on us as we stopped to see what that little radar dome was at the top of the highest point. Please move on before you can't were the words I believe. DEA was the source. Should have known it from the khaki shorts and Hawaiian printed shirts.

Mid 80's, Pismo beach, bunch of friends, sand rails, and a couple of ATC's. One of the ATC's was small, with no suspension. I learned how to jump off when coming down a hill a little too fast to make the turn before the barbed wire fence. Didn't hurt the bike at all, and only a couple of scratches for me.
