Veterans Day 2021

Thanks to all who have served! I was fortunate to have the Army pay for my college degree, and I gave them 6 1/2 years. I was also fortunate to have served during peace time so I have special respect for combat veterans. My son is in the Air Force and currently serving in the Middle East.

Here is a statue of a famous vet, who you might not even recognize as a veteran.

My daughter, son-in-law, son and I all have served so you could say it's in the family. The kids are smarter than I am, I retired USN and they all served USAF.
